AiD’S Training and Employment Programme
AiD’s Training and Employment Programme reaches out to disabled people with little or no education and those from families that fall below the poverty line. Men and women are given on-the-job training for mechanical, electrical, and electronic assembling jobs sourced from various companies. These include high-precision jobs that require skill and concentration. Each person is trained to ensure quality, zero rejection, prompt delivery of goods, and customer satisfaction. All employees are assured of minimum wages, bonuses, PF, ESI, and gratuity as per government rules. Trainees and employees are provided with counseling services, personality development programmes, team-building exercises, and activities to help them gain the confidence and courage to make their inclusion and integration into society a reality
RANGAMMA’S SUCCESS
A zero percent error rate!
Rangamma was born with vision impairment. Being a determined individual, she applied for many jobs; unfortunately, no company would offer her a role. All hope seemed lost, but coming to AiD changed the course of her life. At AiD, she was trained in assembly and packaging jobs. Soon after finishing training, she joined the repair kits packing unit for diesel pumps. Her meticulous attention to detail and work ethic earned much praise from her co-workers and clients. Working at AiD made Rangamma financially independent and gave her the confidence to be self-reliant. Rangamma and hundreds of our other staff at AiD continue to inspire us daily
