Mr. N. S. Sarangdharan is a visionary leader, social entrepreneur, and a passionate advocate for the empowerment of persons with disabilities. With a degree in engineering and over three decades of professional experience at the Association of People with Disability (APD), he has dedicated his life to creating equal opportunities for the differently-abled.

Guided by compassion and a strong sense of social responsibility, Mr. Sarangdharan founded Ability in Disability (AiD) in 2002 at Adugodi, Bengaluru, with a mission to train, employ, and empower people with disabilities. Under his leadership, AiD has grown from a small initiative with 35 trainees to a multi-centre organization recognized for its precision work, inclusive employment, and industrial excellence.

Through his practical approach and technical expertise, he developed structured training programs in Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic assemblies, transforming unskilled individuals into skilled, confident, and self-reliant employees. His commitment to quality, inclusion, and human dignity has earned AiD the trust of reputed companies like BOSCH, 3M, UltraTech, Indo-MIM, Macurex Sensors, and Molex.

Beyond professional achievements, Mr. Sarangdharan is admired for his humility, mentorship, and ability to bring out the best in every person he works with. His leadership continues to inspire hundreds of differently-abled individuals to believe in themselves and achieve independence through meaningful employment.
