Success Stories

At Ability in Disability, every individual brings a story of courage, transformation, and quiet triumph. Meet four remarkable team members whose journeys embody the spirit of resilience and purpose that defines our mission

Hailing from Kolagal, Karnataka, Mahadevaiah was born with an infirmity in his hands — a source of concern for his family, especially as the eldest of five siblings. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, he worked in his ancestral paddy fields before moving to Bengaluru at the age of 38, determined to build a better life for his wife (a tailor by profession) and their two children. Mahadevaiah joined Ability in Disability after receiving training — his very first job. Today, he proudly serves as the Store In-Charge of Materials and has been with us for over 16 years. His children study in English-medium schools and are well on their way to leading empowered lives. Mahadevaiah’s journey is a testament to resilience, responsibility, and quiet leadership
